Sofia Cortez Biography
Sophia Cortez began her career in sports entertainment at the age of fifteen on the island of Puerto Rico. After her initial training, she had the opportunity to debut in the top wrestling company in Puerto Rico, World Wrestling Council, owned by sports entertainment legend Carlos Colon. After gaining valuable experience in WWC, she made her way to International Wrestling Association, owned by former WWE Superstar Savio Vega, to continue to improve her in-ring skills. With some tv experience in these top wrestling promotions in the Caribbean, she made her way to the US.
Cortez began her quest to make a name for herself in the US by competing in Midwest independent promotions. After much dedication and hard work, Sophia was recruited to compete in the latest installment of WWE's Tough Enough. While Sophia didn't win Tough Enough, she sure made a big impression. Cortez believes hard-working, strong female entertainers are the perfect mixture of TALENT and BEAUTY, two qualities she has an abundance ofand has an insatiable ambition to leave her mark in the entertainment world.
